Dr. Scott has spent over 35 years as a faculty and administrator in higher education. She has authored articles and book chapters and presented on topics such as American History, Instructional Design, and Leadership. She has spoken to various groups about her coming out journey and LGBTQ+ issues to various groups throughout her lifetime. She maintains her faith in Christ. She currently lives in the southwest with her partner where she enjoys an active life golfing, bicycling, hiking, and various outdoor activities.
