Rimless eyewear is distinguished by the absence of a conventional rim surrounding each lens, which creates a minimal frame structure. Instead of enclosing the lenses, the bridge and temple components are attached directly to them through specialised mounting points. This construction can reduce the amount of visible frame material, but it also makes lens thickness, material choice, drilling precision, and hardware quality important considerations for stability.
When assessing rimless glasses for women, prescription requirements and daily activities should guide the choice. Lightweight lenses can complement the design, while suitable lens materials may provide better resistance to everyday handling. Chashmay offers educational eyewear information about rimless construction, lens materials, fitting measurements, and frame care, helping readers understand the technical features that can affect comfort and durability.
