1. Introduction

At Justknock, we are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and enriching environment for children and teens. As a social networking platform, we understand the importance of implementing strong child safety protections to comply with local and international regulations, including Google Play Families Policy, COPPA, and UNICEF’s guidelines for online safety.

2. Age Appropriateness & Eligibility

Justknock is not intended for children under 13 unless explicit parental consent is provided.

Users between 13–17 years of age are granted access under supervised, limited feature sets to ensure safety.

We strictly verify age declarations and apply parental gate mechanisms wherever required.

3. Content Moderation & Safety Measures

We implement the following multi-layered safety protocols to ensure age-appropriate and non-harmful content for minors:

✅ Pre-upload content filtering using AI & keyword analysis.

✅ Human moderator reviews for all user-generated content flagged as suspicious.

✅ Automatic profanity and nudity filters on posts, comments, and media.

✅ Removal or suspension of any harmful or exploitative content within 24 hours of detection or reporting.

4. Communication and Interaction Controls

All chats, comments, and direct messages are monitored via automated systems to detect bullying, grooming, or inappropriate language.

Private messaging for users under 18 is disabled by default, unless explicitly enabled by a guardian.

No geolocation sharing, file sharing, or external link sharing is allowed for child accounts.

5. Data Privacy & Parental Controls

We do not collect personal data from children without verifiable parental consent.

All data handling practices are GDPR Article 8 and COPPA-compliant.

Parents/guardians have access to:

✅ Dashboard to monitor child activity

✅ Option to restrict content

✅ Disable/remove profile

Sensitive data (e.g., real names, photos, phone numbers) are never publicly visible for child profiles.

6. Reporting, Blocking, and Escalation

Children and guardians can report users or content easily using in-app "Report" buttons.

Instant blocking options are available to avoid further interaction.

Severe violations are escalated to moderation teams and, if required, to legal authorities.

7. Safety Education and Community Awareness

We offer child-friendly tutorials, in-app tips, and parental onboarding guidance about online safety.

Parents and children are notified of updates via email and in-app alerts.
