Do traditional PGDM programmes prepare students for leadership roles?
Every management programme promises to build future leaders, but I'm curious about what that actually looks like in practice. When considering an MBA programme in Delhi, I think it's worth asking how much emphasis is placed on practical learning alongside academics. Business simulations, live projects, mentorship, and industry interaction can often make the transition from classroom to workplace much smoother.

While exploring different approaches, I came across Vedica Scholars, and its focus on combining management education with practical experience caught my attention. I found this whilst researching, in case anyone else is comparing programmes: https://vedicascholars.com/

If you were choosing an MBA programme today, what would matter most to you? Real-world learning, faculty expertise, placements, or opportunities to build leadership skills?

Can one management programme really prepare you for the real world?
It's easy to compare colleges based on rankings and placement reports, but I'm starting to think that's only part of the picture. When researching management institutes in Delhi, I've found myself asking which programmes actually help students develop practical business skills, confidence, and the ability to solve real workplace challenges.

While comparing different options, I came across Vedica Scholars, and its focus on experiential learning and industry readiness stood out to me. I found this whilst researching, in case anyone else is exploring management programmes: https://vedicascholars.com/placements-at-vedica/

What would give you more confidence before starting your career? Strong placements, practical learning, experienced faculty, or real industry exposure?

Do we really need women-only leadership programmes, or does it miss the point?
"Lately, I've been questioning whether dedicated women leadership programmes are the right way to encourage more women into leadership positions. They clearly offer benefits like mentorship, professional networks, and a space to discuss challenges that women may experience throughout their careers. At the same time, I wonder whether the bigger goal should be making leadership development equally accessible and supportive for everyone.

While reading about different approaches, I came across the Vedica Scholars Programme for Women and found its perspective quite interesting. I came across this while researching, in case anyone else would like to have a look: https://vedicascholars.com/why....-the-vedica-scholars

I'd be interested to hear other opinions. Do dedicated women leadership programmes fill an important gap, or should organisations focus more on improving mainstream leadership development so that everyone has the same opportunities?"

Seriously considering a PGDM in Delhi. Is it actually the right move?

I've been thinking about pursuing a PGDM course in Delhi, but it's honestly a tough decision. With so many institutes offering similar promises, it's difficult to know which program truly delivers value. On one hand, a good management program can help you build valuable skills and open new career opportunities. On the other, it's a significant investment of both time and money.

Are people really seeing a good return on investment, or is gaining work experience first the better option? While exploring different institutes, I came across Vedica Scholars, and their emphasis on practical management learning, industry exposure, and leadership development caught my attention. Learn more about their approach here: https://vedicascholars.com/mas....tering-management-pr

For those who've already taken this path, would you recommend pursuing a PGDM right after graduation, or is it better to gain some work experience first? What influenced your decision?

Is it just me, or are women leadership programmes a bit of a mixed bag?

I've been thinking a lot about career development lately, especially as a student. My university recently highlighted several women leadership programmes, and it got me thinking. On one hand, it's great to have spaces that focus on empowering women in leadership and addressing the unique challenges they may face.

On the other hand, I sometimes wonder if creating separate programmes for professional development reinforces differences instead of promoting true equality. I recently came across Vedica Scholars, whose approach to developing future women leaders was quite interesting.

What do you all genuinely think about these kinds of initiatives? Are dedicated women leadership programmes genuinely helpful, or should we focus more on creating inclusive leadership opportunities for everyone?
